I also went to Zellers, bought some toys and donated them to "Santa Anonymous", a charity that gives toys to unfortunate children. :)

Some handsome police officers came to my door today asking about our neighbors. I told them what I could remember from the cross the hall people but withheld information regarding the desire to be the meat of a cop sandwich as that probably wouldn't have interested them. ;)

I smoked the Churchill Chequers last night, and that's the last cigar that I had in my humidor. It was an awesome cigar, but then again it was very expensive so I expected awesome ( Read more... )

I ended my excellent weekend with a decent stogie. It was the other Arturo Fuente, I think. It was a bit stronger than the last one I smoked and I'm feeling the effects of it right now. :P

Spring seems to be here finally, with it being fairly warm and the plants and trees coming back to life. With that however, my allergies are starting to really act up and I'm eating antihistimines every single day it seems. At least it's not as bad as it was before in my life. Some bumblebees have built a nest in a hole in the eaves. It's far enough away so that it won't bother anyone on the balcony, but close enough that we can see what's going on.

In any case, the honey the bees have been making have attracted ants to that site. The bees and the ants are both there at the same time, making things rather uncomfortable ( Read more... )

I had a great two days off work. I finished a couple more comics, I cleaned the apartment, I did all the laundry and I smoked a cigar this evening. It was the Te Amo, cuba blend. It wasn't as good as the Te Amo Dominicana cigar I smoked a couple of weeks ago, but it was nice.

I had such an awful headache this afternoon that I ended up taking a two hour nap in the evening and only waking up now at about 8 or so. I guess the headache was due to sleep deprivation, though I had a decent night's sleep last night ( Read more... )
